Overview
We’ve been working on new material this year and have also had a few new members come along, and we’d love to share with you what we’ve been working on – before we forget it all over the summer! For some of us, this will be the first performance in the choir, so it’s a nice introduction to performing to be able to start in our usual rehearsal venue – the lovely Gallery room at Christ Church.
Come along and expect an uplifting, informal and fun time, and to maybe get out of your seat, clap your hands and even sing along.
The venue
The Gallery is upstairs at the Christ Church building, right in the heart of Woking: Christ Church is on Jubilee Square, at GU21 6YG. The Gallery is normally accessed by stairs near the entrance to the building, but there is also lift access available on request for those who may require it.
Donations
We will be collecting donations for a charity’s much-needed local work. The charity, CAP, provide free services to people struggling with finances. These services include accredited debt advice, and job-seeking advice and support. CAP’s work relies on charitable donations to function and help its clients through their financial difficulties, so your donation is vital and greatly appreciated.
Entry to the concert is free, and donations are entirely voluntary. 100% of donations will go to CAP in Woking. We hope to have a card reader present for card donations, but cash is also welcome.
